About

The short version of who, what, and why.

What is Mac-A-Tron?

Mac-A-Tron is a Stream Deck plugin focused on reliable macOS automation: keyboard workflows, browser targeting, window control, and time tools. It grew out of real-world friction with existing automation options and is designed for power users who want consistent, repeatable behavior.

What is SnapMatic?

SnapMatic is a menubar utility that brings global hotkeys and per-application window movement to macOS. It uses state machines to cycle window positions predictably and plays well across multiple monitors.

What is Glypher?

Glypher is a Stream Deck plugin that inserts any Unicode character into the focused application with a single button press. It supports up to three independent characters per button via tap, double-tap, and long-press gestures. It runs on both macOS and Windows.

It started from two real problems: Slack silently strips blank lines (but accepts the Unicode line-separator U+2028), and business characters like µ, €, £, and → have no reasonable keyboard shortcut. A Stream Deck button solves both without memorising anything.

Why three tools?

Each tool lives in the layer where it belongs.

Mac-A-Tron is a Stream Deck plugin focused on macOS automation: keyboard workflows with clipboard manipulation, browser tab targeting, window control, and time tools. It needs a native Swift helper because JavaScript alone can't reliably drive macOS at the level power users need.

SnapMatic is a menubar agent. It runs in the background, watches for global hotkeys, and moves windows through configurable state machines. It doesn't need Stream Deck at all — it's always-on keyboard-driven workflow control.

Glypher is a cross-platform Stream Deck plugin that inserts Unicode characters, removing the need to memorise complex shortcuts or open a character picker.

More details and background will be added here over time.
